  • The Bulletin of the American Ceramic Society featured an article on electrospinning written by Michael Laudenslager and Dr. Sigmund as a cover story. Link

  • USA TODAY also published a story on Shu-Hau's water repellent surfaces. Link

  • Science Update featured the water repellent surfaces developed by Shu-Hau. Link

  • Dr. Sigmund is on the advisory council of the 11th International Conference on Ceramic Processing Science (ICCPS-11), which takes place on August 29th to September 1st at ETH Zurich, Switzerland. Link

  • Ren Geryak, an undergraduate student, was awarded an HHMI scholarship.

  • The National Academy of Engineering interviewed Dr. Sigmund on the water repellant surfaces developed by Shu-Hau. The interview was broadcast on NPR in Washington D.C.
